    The mission of the Growing Our Own Workshops, levels 1 and 2 is to build, nurture, and help sustain grassroots nonprofit organizations. The goals are to: stimulate new start-up nonprofits in diverse and disadvantaged communities; stimulate micro-nonprofits to serve local neighborhoods; promote practices necessary to move grassroots organizations from the start-up phase to long-term sustainability; raise awareness about the economic potential of a strong nonprofit sector in economically disadvantaged communities, and foster collaboration and partnership among grassroots nonprofit organizations.

Come to this workshop to explore time-saving, accurate ways to track your organization's earnings and expenses, discuss proper tax forms to complete, due dates, what happens if your organization is delinquent, and how to get back into good standing.
